Selective brush plating is a method where the metal coating is emitted from the electrolyte by a graphite anode being moved across the area to be repaired.

Norsk Everit A/S considers selective brush plating best suited for repair of scratches and minor damages.

The equipment is mobile and the repair can be undertaken at the customer’s premises. Dismantling of the damaged components is often unnecessary.

A wide variety of plating can be delivered, from coatings with pure chrome or nickel to coatings containing cobalt or wolfram. The type of coating is chosen according to demands of hardness and corrosion resistance. Technical properties can be given on request.
